For the filtration of lees, there is only one option: Harborlite Perlite! Perlite can also be used as an alternative to Diatomaceous Earth. Available Harborlite Perlite grades from tightest to coarsest are:

  • 200 (High polish filtrations)
  • 400 (Polish filtrations)
  • 700S (Rough and clarification filtrations)
  • 1500S (For lees and RDVF filtrations)
  • 1800 (For lees)
  • 2000S (For more porous filtrations)
